Being on-site means just that… I go everywhere. I have been blessed with traveling as far as Montana to all the way to Bend Oregon this year. I load up my car and the little jiggle ” On the road again” always starts to play in my head. During the work week I do work out of a salon cutting and styling hair in two studios. One in Tacoma, one in Seattle. But one “space” that stays constant pretty much is how I begin my mornings… I call it my “work space”. Its where I begin my day. I prepare myself mentally… I flush out all the fog from the night before and clear my mind for all the positive energy that I can allow for the day. I take my best friend, my dog Louis, rain or shine for an hour long walk along the water front right at dawn…. my namesake. I breath in, I breath out. I remind myself of at least 4 things that I am grateful for. Some days this comes easily, some days I walk a little farther…. I repeat in my head #LivingWithIntent and #FaithNotFear. God has given me the talent to not “just” cut and style hair, put makeup on faces but to help people FEEL better… I take this seriously… this is my passion. I LOVE it. Every day I run into new people that are on a journey that I know nothing about. If I could somehow make their journey an easier one, just by being in a better frame of mind and remembering what my intent is I will be a blessed person!
